History and medal information - Ulster Defence Regiment Medal For Long Service and Good Conduct EIIR Obverse crowned head of Elizabeth II; Reverse - crowned harp and inscription ULSTER DEFENCE REGIMENT with a suspender of laurel leaves surmounted by a scroll bar bearing the regiment's initialls. Granted to personnel for 15 years exemplary service after 1st April 1970.
