History and medal information - The Royal Air Force Long Service and Good Conduct medal has been awarded since 1st July 1919 by the RAF. Awarded for 15 years exemplary service. 

The Obverse has the effigy of the reigning monarch.

The reverse has the RAF Eagle and crowned insignia.
