Item - Genuine Miniature Medal in mint condition with ribbon.

History and medal information - Afghanistan 1841 - 1842. There are two different types of this medal, awarded by the HEIC to surviving defenders of the fortress of Jellalabad between 12th November 1841 and 7th April 1842. The first medals were struck in Calcutta and has a mural crown and JELLALABAD on the reverse.
