Item - Genuine Miniature Medal in mint condition with ribbon. Made in the UK.

History and medal information - This medal was awarded for the campaign of April to July 1982 to recover the Falklands Islands following the Argentian Invasion. Falklands campaign South Atlantic April - July 1982 over 30,000 medals were awarded. A rosette denotes actual service on or south of the Ascension Islands. Some Battles include - Longdon, Goose Green, Tumbledown, Port Stanley to name a few. Units involved such as the SAS, SBS, Parachute Regiment, Royal Marines, Scots and Welsh Guards, Gurkhas, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force which makes this a very collectable medal.
