Ribbon Colours - Represents the Union Jack - White with thin Red stripes at the edges, a broad Blue stripe in the centre and a thin Red stripe down the middle of it. Item - Genuine Miniature Court Mounted Medal in mint condition with ribbon. History and medal information - H M The Queens Silver Jubilee Medal 1977. 30,000 were Awarded to British armed forces and normally was issued to 2 of each rank from each unit/squadron and the Police Service, fire service and the RUC. This was the first medal to show the HM The Queen wearing the Edwards Crown (Also on the Queens Golden Jubilee medal) and was to celebrate the 25th anniversary on 6th Feb 1977 The original was un-named and was Silver.
