Ribbon Colours - Three equal bands of Dark Blue (British Forces), Red (Commonwealth Forces), and Dark Blue. The Dark Blue bands each have at their centres a stripe of bright orange (the Sun). Item - Genuine Miniature Medal in mint condition with ribbon. History and medal information - British Miniature WW2 Burma Star Medal - The six-pointed star has a circular centre with the GRI/VI monogram, surmounted by a crown and inscribed The BURMA STAR round the foot. The Burma star was granted for service during the often ferocious fighting against the Japanese in Burma, Malaya 11th December 1941 - 2nd September 1945.
