Ribbon Colours - Pale Blue stripe (indicating the sky) with Black edges (night flying) and a narrow Yellow stripe on each side (indicating enemy search lights).

Item - Genuine Miniature Medal in mint condition with ribbon.

History and medal information - British Air Crew Europe Star WW2. This is the least known WW2 Campaign star and unlike the other campaign stars it is only awarded to RAF and Commonwealth aircrews. Awarded for operational flying from UK bases over Europe for a period of 2 months between 3rd September 1939 and 4th June 1944. The Full Size medal is the most expensive of all WW2 Medals.
