British Falklands /South Atlantic Campaign Medal 1982.

This medal was awarded for the campaign of April to July 1982 to recover the Falklands Islands following the Argentian Invasion. Falklands campaign South Atlantic April-July 1982 over 30,000 medals were awarded.

A rosette denotes actual service on or south of the Ascension Islands.

Battles include -Goose Green, Tumbledown, Port Stanley to name a few.Units involved such as the SAS, SBS, Parachute Regiment, Royal Marines, Scots and Welsh Guards, Gurkhas, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force make this a very collectable medal.
