Item - Full Size Replacement Medal - British Falklands /South Atlantic Campaign Medal 1982 medal WITHOUT Rosette.

History and medal information - This medal was awarded for the campaign of April to July 1982 to recover the Falklands Islands following the Argentian Invasion. Falklands campaign South Atlantic April-July 1982 over 30,000 medals were awarded.

A rosette denotes actual service on or south of the Ascension Islands.  Battles include - Goose Green, Tumbledown, Port Stanley to name a few.    Units involved such as the SAS, SBS, Parachute Regiment, Royal Marines, Scots and Welsh Guards, Gurkhas, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force make this a very collectable medal.
